Scissors Paper Stone is one of the strange games originated in China. These strange sports appeared in the XVII century and was called shoushilin – “commands by hand.” Otherwise known as “ant”, “man” and “elephant”. Elephant crushes man, man crushes an ant, and ant bites an elephant. In Europe, these funny sports was first mentioned in the XIX century. There were several variations, the number reached five figures, but subsequently it decided to restrict to three: a fist (“rock”) of the two fingers (scissors) and bunch of fives (“paper”). In the past century, Americans were smart enough to hold tournaments at this unpretentious but very exciting game. Over time, there became international tournaments that acquired the status of the world championship. There is also the International Federation of stone, scissors and paper.
The rules of these sports for fun are similar to a boxing bout – the participants exhibited their fists and start fighting. Paper can be cut with scissors, but scissors are powerless against a stone. But the stone could be wrapped in paper. Therefore, the shear is stronger than paper, but weaker than the stone and the stone in turn gives way to the paper.
